RTI Systems of Support

Since 2009, the Northern Rhode Island Collaborative has worked along with the Rhode Island Department of Education to build statewide capacity to implement activities of early intervening services and RTI support.  The Northern Rhode Island Collaborative provides project coordination, fiscal oversight, staffing, professional development, including engagement of national experts in the field of early intervening services.  Our staff provide trainings in districts through the state, tailored to meet the specific needs of the teachers in the building.  More information can be found at http://www.ritap.org/rti/

Pathways to Graduation

Beginning in the summer of 2013, the Northern Rhode Island Collaborative Pathways to Graduation Summer Program was started with financial support from the Rhode Island Foundation.  The program is a two week hands on, experiential learning experience for students, which is designed to embed critical NECAP skills for students, while at the same time demonstrating to students the uses of math and other 21st century skills in everyday life.  For more information please contact Joseph Nasif, Interim Executive Director at jnasif@nric-ri.org.
