NRIC will be offering another Teacher Assistant Training Program beginning June 10th, 2013. Click here for details.
The Regional Vocational Assessment Center was developed with funds from the R.I. Department of Education (RIDE) and the R.I. Office of Rehabilitation Services (ORS) with the purpose of providing new patterns of service to students who are primarily 16 years of age or older and are eligible to receive services from the Office of Rehabilitation Services.
Following a series of customized vocational assessments, including a community-based situational assessment and career guidance, students from the Northern Rhode Island area will be better able to self-evaluate and to develop a plan for their future which is based on their career interests and aptitudes.
Referrals for vocational services can be made by ORS Counselors, parents, or school personnel, with the approval of the student's school district's Director of Special Education or his/her designee.

- In-House and community-based Vocational Assessment and Evaluation
